Have a documented disability.
Meet income guidelines as determined by Rush Homes’ housing funders. Income requirements may vary based on the listed home. If you are unsure if you meet income requirements, please call our offices.
Agree to undergo a criminal background check and landlord reference check.
Have a service plan in place if you needed full or part time individual support.
We readily accept section 8 Housing Choice Vouchers.
Join our waiting list
Rush Homes maintains a single list for all properties. Applicants will be placed on the list in the order they applied. We are no longer sending postcards advertising vacancies.
Rush Homes does not provide rental assistance. We do accept vouchers, and rent amounts will vary based on location and unit type.
Rush Homes does not provide emergency housing. The Waitlist is often long—our apartments are a long-term goal, not a quick-fix. Once you join the Waitlist, you do not need to reach out to us unless your contact information, voucher status, or income changes. You are responsible for letting us know of any changes to your information.
When there is a vacancy, we will contact applicants by phone, giving priority to: those with vouchers, wheelchair users, those in need of sensory accommodation for a hearing or vision disability, and finally, the date of the application.
If you are not disabled, you will only be considered for placement at Florida Terrace and Phelps Road, and priority will first be given to those with disabilities.
Requests for 3-bedroom units: we currently have only eight 3-bedroom units and availability is extremely limited as the turn-over rate of these units is very low.
