Rush Homes maintains a list for EACH property. Applicants will be placed on the list for the property in which they have expressed interest. We are no longer sending postcards advertising vacancies.
For EACH property:
When there is a vacancy, we will contact the applicants in the top five spots on the list for that property. Priority is given to applicants with vouchers, wheelchair users, those in need of sensory accommodation for a hearing or vision disability, and finally, the date of application.
If an applicant does not have a housing voucher, the applicant’s income must be 2½ times the rent amount (for example, if the rent is $650/mo, you must earn $1,625/mo).
If your income does not meet that requirement, we will keep your name and the date you applied and when you do get a voucher, you will have priority based on the date of application.
You are responsible for letting us know when you get a voucher, when your income changes, and/or when your contact information changes.
If you have questions or need assistance completing the form, please contact our office at 434-455-2120.
Rush Homes does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability, familial status, or elderliness.
