Having moved to Lynchburg to be closer to family (both hers and her wife’s), Jessica brings a wealth of experience to the role of Office Manager. Born & raised in Charlottesville, Jessica earned her BA in English at Hollins, lived in Japan and taught English after graduating, and then moved to Portland OR where she earned her MA in Japanese Literature. She is pleased to be at Rush Homes as it is important to her to contribute to her local community and “do some good in the world.” When she isn’t at work, she enjoys reading, cross stitch, and embroidery, playing video games and Dungeons and Dragons, being a model for her wife’s sewing hobby, and spending time with her and their 7 cats.
