This quadraplex was purchased and renovated in 2008. Originally a single-family home, it was renovated to be two 2-bedroom apartments in the center and two 1-bedroom apartments were built on each side. The one-bedroom apartments are fully wheelchair accessible. The addition of laminate floors, updating of all appliances and HVAC improved energy efficiency. The project was funded by a Virginia Housing Development Authority SPARC loan, Department of Housing and Community Development, Federal Home Loan Bank, Affordable Housing Program, Genworth Foundation, The Greater Lynchburg Community Trust (now Foundation), the Easley Foundation and by private contributions.
